 Virtual reality eases phantom limb pain

 A new test devised by researchers at Aalborg University in Denmark shows that virtual reality technology can trick the amputee's brain into thinking that it is still in control of a missing limb.

 Stretching the boundaries of neural implants

 Researchers have developed a rubber-like fibre that can flex and stretch while simultaneously delivering both optical impulses and electrical connections to mimic the flexibility of the spinal cord.
